Simple Snowflake Christmas Card

This is my final Christmas card and is the most basic.  I looked at what color card stock I had a lot of and Marina Mist was it.  The rest of the color combination came right from the Color Coach.

The base of the card is Marina Mist and was stamped with the Simple Snowflake stamp with Marina Mist Classic Ink.  The layers are Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake. The Crumb Cake layer was stamped with Cajun Craze using the Four the Holidays stamp set.  To set off the saying I used the Mat Pack and Paper Piercing Tool to add a dotted underline to it.

The Simple Snowflake was stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock and then punched out with the Snowflake Punch.  Then I used the new Dazzling Details to hight light the entire image.  Once it was dry I attached a Cajun Craze piece that was punched with the Itty Bitty Punches and a Basic Pearl to the center.  The snowflake was then attached to the card with a Dimensional.

A layer of Crumb Cake that was stamped with the Simple Snowflake and Crumb Cake ink was layered onto Cajun Craze and then attached to the inside of the card on the bottom.  The saying was stamped with Cajun Craze and is from the stamp set Many Merry Messages.

Snowman Gift Card Holder

I always have 3 or 4 people that I need to give gift cards to and this is the card that I created this year for them.  The color combo is from the Color Coach and isn't one that I would have picked out myself but love how it looks. 

The base of the card is So Saffron with layers of More Mustard and Rose Red card stock.  I stamped the base with the Christmas tree image using More Mustard Ink.

The snowman is from the set Snow Much Fun and was stamped with Jet Black StazOn onto Very Vanilla card stock before being colored with markers.

The hat, buttons & boots are colored with Basic Gray; the hat band & scarf are colored with More Mustard; the dots on the scarf are colored with Rose Red; and the birds & snowman outline are colored with Bashful Blue.

The saying is stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock with Jet Black StazOn and then punched out with the Modern Label Punch.  This was layered onto Rose Red and More Mustard card stock that was also punched out using the Modern Label Punch.  It was attached to the card front with dimensionals.

On the inside of the card, the base of So Saffron card stock is folded to create a flap which is going to hold the gift card.  Use the Word Window Punch to create an opening in the center of the flap for a gift card.  To finish the left side, I stamp the bird on the snowball image in More Mustard ink three times across the bottom.

For the inside right, I stamp the Christmas tree image with So Saffron ink onto the Very Vanilla card stock and then layer it onto Rose Red and More Mustard card stock.

Concord Crush Ornament Card

I can't believe it's been over a week since I posted my last card.  I have a small daycare in my home and this week a new little pumpkin started here.  She is very good and so stinking cute.  I just needed to adjust my stamping and posting schedule so I can still fit it all in.  I'm back on track now, so here's a new card. ☺

The base of the card is Concord Crush card stock and it is layered with Pear Pizzazz that has been stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink using the Pine Tree from Lovely as a Tree stamp set.  I wrapped Concord Crush 1/2" Stitched Ribbon around the top of this layer and then glued it down using the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue.  The ribbon is a heavier weight than most and I really like the holding power of this glue.  Another alternative would have been to use Sticky Strip to attach the layers.

I then stamped the ornaments from Tags til Christmas stamp set onto Shimmery White card stock and then punched them out using the Ornament Punch.  They were attached to the card using dimensionals after having tied a bow on each one and creating a hanger using white Baker's Twine.

To finish the front I stamped "Merry Christmas" from the Four the Holidays stamp set with Concord Crush ink in the bottom right hand corner.

The inside of the card was created similarly to the front.  I finished it with the saying from the Many Merry Messages stamp set stamped with Concord Crush ink.

Season's Greeting Card Kid

Today's card was created with the stamp set Greeting Card Kids.  It's a set of four images and they are all so cute and fun to watercolor!

The base of this card is Crumb Cake and is layered with two matching pattern papers and then wrapped with the Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding. 

I stamped the image onto Shimmery White card stock and then colored it in using a Blender Pen with Cherry Cobbler, Bashful Blue, Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake and Daffodil Delight Classic Inks.

After the image dried, I used my 2-Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds to add some shimmer to the tree and to the ground under the sled and the girl.

Then I layered it onto Always Artichoke and Whisper White card stock after I sponged the edges of the Whisper White layers with Crumb Cake Classic Ink.

The inside of the card is sponged also and then finished with a strip of the patterned paper on the bottom.

Peace on Earth Ornament Card

Today's card is a simple card that will be easy for me to mass produce for Christmas.  I really like the colors and how well they go together.

The base of the card is Bashful Blue and the right edge was punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch and then a strip of Crumb Cake card stock was layered behind it.  I used the Corner Punch to round the corners

All of the Bashful Blue layers were stamped with the small snowflake image from the Delightful Decorations stamp set using VersaMark. I then layered the stamp layers onto Whisper White card stock and Real Red card stock.

I used the Crop-a-Dial to punch a hole in the top center of the square layers for the front and threaded White Baker's Twine, that had been dyed with my Crumb Cake Classic Ink Refill, through the hole to create the ornament hanger.

The layers on the front of the card were popped-up with dimensionals and the ornament, which was stamped onto Whisper White card stock with Real Red, punched out using the Ornament Punch and wrapped with the dyed baker twine, was also popped up with dimensionals.

To add a little extra touch I tied a small bow and attached it with Mini Glue Dots before stamping the sentiments on the front and inside using Real Red Classic Ink.

Serene Razzleberry Snowflakes

Each Christmas I create at least one card that's not typical Holiday colors and this is the first one this year.

The base of the card is Pink Pirouette with a 2" x 5-1/2" piece of Whisper White attached to the top.  I stamped the larger snowflakes (from the Serene Snowflakes stamp set) with Pink Pirouette Ink and the smaller ones are stamped with Rich Razzleberry that had been stamped off.

 

I wrapped the card front with Rich Razzleberry 3/8" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon.

 

The snowflake punched image was stamped with Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White and then punched out with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch and layered onto Pink Pirouette that was punched with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch and Rich Razzleberry that was punched with the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch.  To give it a little bling, I added a Basic Rhinestone to the center of the snowflake.  It was adhered to the card with Dimensionals.

The inside of the card was stamped with the large snowflake using Pink Pirouette Ink and then a layer of Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White (that had been stamped like the front) were added to the bottom to finish it off.
