Here is a card I created using the Paper Piecing Technique!
I really like this stamp but have felt limited because of the words of thanks that are on it. To omit them I took a Post-It Note and cut it down just enough to cover the words and then I inked up the rest of the image with the Black StazOn Ink. Before stamping it onto the paper, I removed the Post-It Note and voilà the words were gone!
To create the cupcake on the front of the card I used three of the different patterns from the Sweet Slumber DSP and when I attached them to the card I used dimensionals to pop the frosting up off the front. I added the ribbon to give it a present feel and to add a little dimension to the bottom of the cupcake.
To coordinate the inside I stamped the image (minus the words again) onto a piece of So Saffron CS, cut it out using my Paper Snips and then stamped the Birthday Wish saying in the middle using Black StazOn again.
TFL and I hope that you like it!
** Just a reminder that the Sweet Slumber Designer Series Paper is on the Last Chance List and will not be available after June 30, 2009. If you love it as much as I do make sure to order some now!
Have a wonderful day and happy stamping!
~ Michelle

So clever to use a post it note. I will have to try that with other sets. Great card! I love the brads as sprinkles. I am making a cupcake shaped card for a swap and that would have been cute, but a little costly for that many cards.
