Snowman Gift Card Holder

I always have 3 or 4 people that I need to give gift cards to and this is the card that I created this year for them.  The color combo is from the Color Coach and isn't one that I would have picked out myself but love how it looks. 

The base of the card is So Saffron with layers of More Mustard and Rose Red card stock.  I stamped the base with the Christmas tree image using More Mustard Ink.

The snowman is from the set Snow Much Fun and was stamped with Jet Black StazOn onto Very Vanilla card stock before being colored with markers.

The hat, buttons & boots are colored with Basic Gray; the hat band & scarf are colored with More Mustard; the dots on the scarf are colored with Rose Red; and the birds & snowman outline are colored with Bashful Blue.

The saying is stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock with Jet Black StazOn and then punched out with the Modern Label Punch.  This was layered onto Rose Red and More Mustard card stock that was also punched out using the Modern Label Punch.  It was attached to the card front with dimensionals.

On the inside of the card, the base of So Saffron card stock is folded to create a flap which is going to hold the gift card.  Use the Word Window Punch to create an opening in the center of the flap for a gift card.  To finish the left side, I stamp the bird on the snowball image in More Mustard ink three times across the bottom.

For the inside right, I stamp the Christmas tree image with So Saffron ink onto the Very Vanilla card stock and then layer it onto Rose Red and More Mustard card stock.

Snow Much Fun Card

This is one of the cards that we stamped at my Christmas Card Stamp-a-Stack.  During the class we stamp 12 cards, 3 each of 4 different designs, in an evening.  The classes are always so much fun.

The base of this card was created using a Window Sheet.  When you use them on a card, there's always the issue of trying to hide the adhesive.  To cover it on this card, I attached one piece of Bravo Burgundy card stock on the inside of the front and another piece on the back of the card. Then I layered the stamped Sahara Sand card stock over them, sandwiching the adhesive between them.

The tree image, from the stamp set Snow Much Fun, was stamped with Jet Black StazOn and then colored using Lucky Limeade for the tree, Soft Suede for the trunk, Daffodil Delight for the bird, Bravo Burgundy for the ornaments, Sahara Sand for the ground and then the branches were highlighted with the White Signo Gel Pen.

The sentiments were stamped with Bravo Burgundy and the christmas tree image on the inside was stamped with Sahara Sand.

Autumn Harvest Card for Mojo Monday

When I saw this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch challenge I immediately thought of turning it into a waterfall card.  I turned the sketch on it's side and used the Autumn Harvest stamp set for it.

I used Woodland Walk Designer Series Paper  for the background over Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla card stock with Cherry Cobbler card stock used for the back of the waterfall part.

The images are water colored with So Saffron, More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler, Wild Wasabi, Garden Green and Chocolate Chip Classic Inks using an Aquapainter.

Jolly St Nick Challenge

The layout for this card came from the PPA weekly challenge and the colors are from Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper.

I used Crumb Cake and Early Espresso card stock and the two different designer papers from Deck the Halls.

The Santa was stamped onto Watercolor Paper with VersaMark and the embossed with Black EP.  I used Cherry Cobbler (hat), Crumb Cake (hat's pom-pom & trim), Pretty in Pink (cheeks), Bashful Blue (beard) & Early Espresso (mouth) Classic Inks to color most of it.  The face and lips were colored using the Blush Blossom Stampin' Write Marker. 

To stamp the "Ho Ho Ho", I used my Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker and the Happy Holidays stamp from Many Merry Messages.  I inked up only the Ho from Holidays and then stamped it three times onto Watercolor Paper.

To finish the card I sponged Early Espresso Classic Ink on the edges of the front two watercolor paper and the Crumb Cake layer on the inside.

Trick or Treat Pumpkin

I wanted to share this Top Note Bigz Die Box with you on Sunday but I had to hold off until today because it is for my October Stamp Class.  Hope you like it!

Winter Wonderland of Punch Pals

Winter is not for me but I do love to create Christmas and Holiday projects.  So, while it was spitting snow outside this morning, I stayed inside with some hot cocoa, a roaring fire  and my Punch Pals stamp set.  I think this card turned out absolutely adorable (if I do say so myself - lol).

The card stock colors used were Bashful Blue, Whisper White and Basic Black.  To create the backgrounds I stamped the snowflakes and presents with Bashful Blue Classic Ink and then dotted the centers of the snowflakes with my White Gel Pen.

To create the snowy hills I tore the Whisper White card stock into a wave pattern, sponged the torn edges with a Stamping Sponge and Bashful Blue Classic Ink and then layered them together. 

The images were stamped onto Whisper White card stock with Black StazOn and then colored using the Basic Black, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Garden Green, Soft Suede and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers.  After I colored them, I cut them out and popped them up with Dimensionals.

The inside of the card was created the same way.

The sayings are from the set Many Merry Messages and were stamped with Black StazOn.
